Fabricworks is the production and enterprise arm of Stitches in Time focusing upon textile pieces created in community workshops and "framing" these within finished pieces including textile-art wall hangings, garments and knitted thrones.

Fabricworks is run by Stitches in Time with a dedicated team in partnership with a pool of diverse artists.

We work to commission for textile hangings for interiors, costume and textile-art projects for private and public venues.

In the studio workshop, textile-art is produced to a high standard. These pieces are displayed in community, commercial and private venues.

Fabricworks offers training in textiles to local women who wish to enhance their textile skills. As well as this, there is specialist training with a production focus including a variety of techniques: hand and machine finishing; printing; pattern cutting; 3D construction and installation.

Working with community groups and providing opportunities for people to learn new skills and be creative is a vital part of Fabricworks.
